Precious hand-me-downs

My mom brought me some of my baby clothes a while back. Now that Ellie's older and bigger, she's able to fit into some of them. Here's a little sweater I wore when I was about 6 months old:

Ellie is now pulling herself up!

She started trying a few days ago and now can do it so easily! I think she learns a lot by watching the older kiddies in her class at daycare. Unfortunately, as with all new things learned, all she wants to do now is pull herself up to standing.

Another tooth?!

Ellie secretly popped out another tooth on top! I noticed she was grinding her teeth one day (Ew, I know.) so I went to investigate what she could possibly be grinding her bottom teeth on. Lo and behold, there's a tooth, but it's not in a spot where you'd expect. Usually, babies get their bottom center teeth, then top center teeth. Ellie's top tooth is one over to the right of the center right tooth. Confused yet? Here's a blurry picture:

They daycare teacher decided to give all the girls in the class pigtails. Since Ellie doesn't have enough hair for pigtails, they improvised. When I walked in to pick her up that night, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw her! There's just something really humorous about that little tuft of hair.

Last weekend I bought these hand made hair clips since Ellie's hair is getting longer. For fun, I just put all of them on her hair.

This lady makes really cute hair clips from ribbon, felt and even croquet some of them.Ellie has a pink and red flower, a dragonfly and some regular bows.
