Ellie and I spent an afternoon together before her last day of Kindergarten. As a treat, we went to get mani pedis at a local nail salon. The ladies who did our nails were very nice albeit slightly condescending in that "older Asian mom" kind of way.
In any case, Ellie had a great time and did a great job picking out her nail colors on her own. She has such a great eye when it comes to nail colors. Whatever she picks always looks so awesome!! Her mommy is so plain jane, safe and the colors never seem to look right. But with Ellie, whatever she picks just works!

And Friday is the last day of school. Feeling a mix of excitement, sadness and pride. Ellie got an award for perfect attendance and her class finished off the school year with a song.
